More Good Stuff

Talking with Grandma, she was telling me about a friend of hers who was bragging about having a PhD and Grandma said "You might have a PhD but you ain't got no J-O-B!!!"

Then she was talking about how Johnny (Duck) was the only good man she had. When she met him he was in a wheelchair and she said he was perfect for her because if he acted up she could beat his butt out of that chair!

She was talking about her Sister Georgia Mae who's always talking about how good her hair looks. When Grandma saw her she said "You talkin' about them spider webs on your head?" She said she really wanted to tell her she looked like "Dammit I Git You!"

Grandma's Got A Gun!

Talked to Grandma today and she is just too funny. Still talking about what a great time she had with her family last weekend at Jay's funeral. I hadn't realized Grandma was one of 11 children - wow! Only 2 are left, her and Georgia Mae. I'm glad they're close, they talk every day!

Grandma was telling me about some teenage boys who were getting in her yard. This has happened before. When she saw them this time, she told me she ran out of her house in her backyard, she couldn't believe she could run like that! Wish I would have seen it! So she called the police and the they came out. They asked if she had any protection and she said she had a gun. They told her if those boys come back don't hesitate to use it. Grandma said she didn't want to hurt anyone and she didn't want to go to jail. They said they'd make sure she didn't go the jail! I tell you, Grandma gets the hookup for everything!

Grandma is so cool!

After Sister Jay's Funeral

Talking about relatives she saw at her sister's funeral. "Whew they were so big, you could fall inside their butt and no one could find you!"
